Hi, if there are........ Im running 1.0x on a 5.03 Notes server. I want to run 2.08 of QP (meaning it must run on 5.08 of Notes). Thats all fine. However the upgrade path is a nightmare. So, Im thinking of simply installing a new Notes 5.08, and then a new QP 2.08 on top of it. Now, I know there...
Hi Guys, thanks for all your help. It would appear that I was doing something a bit stupid......... Followed through Jpoandl's comments above, and all seemed ok. Only when I pinged with the -a did I get the desired affect ie name resolution !!! Now, I know that brontosauras told me to try that...
Hi, yes I enable Netbios over IP and I actually installed WINS a few days ago as I also thought that would fix it. It doesnt seem to have! I guess then the question is have I setup WINS correctly, but then again is it that hard ??
Hi all
I have the same problem, except mine is with 2000 clients! Although it only happens to some of them. Im running AD in mixed mode. Any ideas ? (I use the non-expire fix to get around it temporarily).

ie
switch1 -->cabled to hubs, etc
switch2 -->cabled to switch1 (crossover cable)??
But if switch1 fails how does switch2 talk...
