You should not have to do an import unless you are using a tape robot.
If you use a robot you can write a .CMD-file to run which will execute the import command.
Like this:
bemcmd.exe -o080 -a"compaq 1" -s1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
where -a is the robot name and -s is the slots to import...
