Beware of this approach. Functionality wise its great
but performance wise, is very dangerous.
When you know exactly what to expect ex. 5 rows max ,then
It's OK, but if the numbers of rwos are big or unknown,
avoid this.
In one case I had, was a simple date function that was
executed for...
When a background process died, it generate in the trace
file a dump. (ex. in a ora-600)...
Does anyone have a way or a tool to analyse the dump ?
I know that one way is to call Oracle Support... but
I would like to do a minimal of analysis on my own...
Thanks,
Yvessss
Like every one, I was affected by this fast evolution of technologies, with my different PCs over time.

In Designer (prior to 6i), I worked with pl/sql packages.

formed using different modules version.
Hope this help...
Yes, there is standards for SQL, by ANSI and ISO.
They also evolved... there was SQL89 (SQL1), SQL92 (SQL2)
and now SQL99 (SQL3). I think it is the latest.
Try
http://www.nssn.org/ or www.ansi.org
But now these documents are for sale... can't find a
free electronic official version...
