Aha! I do have the "show items with no data" but it is greyed out (not active). I believe it is because the data is drawn from a database using a cube... right? The cube filters out the row because it's empty when it's drawn from the database. thanks for all your help!

Hmmm... I don't have that option. I can hide dimensions, which isn't quite the same thing. That option isn't available on the Field or Table options either.
