Nothing on the task bar. For example, if I have a browser open (most often with up to 3-4 tabs) and let's say a Freecell game open, it is just gone and the only thing on the task bar is the freecell game.
If I have 2 browsers, with multiple tabs open and the Freecell game, then the Freecell...
When working with 2-4 tabs open, say one with one type of webmail, another with another webmail, another with Tek-tips, and yet another with Eng-tips, for exampleand in either webmail account, when clicking back and forth between messages and/or inbox, at least once an evening or more, when, for...
I speak Mexican Spanish and Spain Spanish and Venezuelan Spanish. There are words I can use in some of those countries that I wouldn't dare use in the other. And, they aren't the same words either, so it is tough to keep it all straight. Something very properly said in one country can be...
On my company laptop, less than a year old with XP Pro, there is the ability to disable the touchpad if another pointing device is detected; USB mouse, wireless, etc. On my personal laptop which is ~3 years old with XP Pro I can't find that feature. Does anyone have any idea how to get it in...
Linney,
The rename did the trick although I went ahead and did the chkdsk and the Sfc Scan. Neither of them produced any problems so that is good.
Funny, as a 3 year user of XP Pro, this is the first time I have ever had to do a chkdsk and with WinME from whence I came, I think that program...
I have XP Pro on a 3 year old Dell 9200. For a few months now everywhere that the text notation "my documents" should appear, e.g. on my desktop icon for My Documents, or in the Start Menu (first item in the top right just above "my recent documents" and anywhere else that I should see "my...
I ran a laptop for 12 days in the NW Houston area off of two different generators. No problems. My only connection was via a laptop connect card and the circuits were very busy in the first days but eased up later that first week.

I often get "undeliverable message" when I sent to a valid e mail address because of file size. When the undeliverable notification comes back to my inbox, the addressee's email address is removed from my auto-fill. Is there any to toggle that off so that it doesn't do that. I have looked and...
I have had this happen too and it is very random. I have had to learn to decipher between the totally random old e mail that suddenly appears and one that appears because I moved an e mail from some other folder back into the inbox.
But, that said, the old e mails do just show up. It is...
Caution,
I also find that if an incoming mail is moved from the inbox to the sub folder before it is delivered to the BB, it won't be delivered to the BB.
I found that I thought I had an e mail on the BB and couldn't find it for the life of me and then I realized that I was filing them before...
About 3 out of every 5 times I boot my laptop up (docked or on the lap) and start Outlook 2003 I get an error message that states something like "outlook was closed improperly. checking data file "mailbox.rmw2" for errors-and it gives a time required of anywhere from 6 minutes to 10 minutes and...
When I attach a contact to a e mail using outlook contacts, the recipient always e mails back that it showed up blank.
The contact information is not blank when I open the contact or when I open the contact as an attachment before sending or from my sent list.
Any suggestions?

I think I figured this out. These were e mails that I had found in my delete box that I had decided to rescue and move back to my inbox. I hadn't associated that with the fact that they showed up shortly after on my BB. I sis it again yesterday and recognized it when it arrived.

I think this question was mis-answered. I, too wanted deleted e mails on my outlook inbox to be subsequently deleted on the B/B so I tried the steps above, and it seems to be that deleted e mails on the B/B reconcile with the outlook, but not vice versa.
Is that right?
I am going to go back...
