    Deny propagation of one class

    I'm not sure you can limit the propagation to a stop at a parent object in the hierarchy, and altering the database can produce unpredictable results. Have you thought about using BPVM which will allow you to set rules based on the number of critical objects in the BPV?

    Were you able to successfully install the agent? If not what error messages did you get durning the install? The snmpd process on AIX will only be used during the initial discovery of the server. If snmp isn't running on the agent machine the object will show up in the map as unclassified...
