    Ok here's what I've done. On the image that I want to trasfer to another canvas: Select-->All then Edit-->Copy...then I minimize that and go to the other canvas, from there I go Layer-->New-->Layer...Still blank, what am I doing wrong? Thanks for helping, jmgalvin!

    Thanks for the quick reply, I'm still doing something wrong. I can select and copy the image, but how exactly do I make it show up on a new layer on another canvas? How do I create a new layer in target PS document?
