I was wondering if there is a way to create a user account that may have READ only access to the Arcserve v11.5 backup jobs? I do not want to give the CAROOT password to anyone but the 3 people that currently know it.

If you have the opportunity I would call CA and request the 11.5 upgrade. It should be cvered in your License agrrement. There are also some problems with the 2003 OS. I have run into problems on 2 occassions with the Tape drive not playing nice. I used a Registry fix from Microsofts web site...

I am looking to restore local users from an Ftp site with WinNT OS using Arcserve 9.0. We need to restore them to a Windows 2003 Server. We are trying to get away from purchasing a third party software package.I am not finding much information on this topic anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.
