Depending on the software is installed there may be a previous ver still on the server. You can go to the Software Management section of the web interface and if it is there, you can just load it. Retain the dot release incase you need to back out. Dont forget to click make upgrade permanate...
If you are using ASA there is a All of these buttons show up on the top of the Emu screen when appropriate. If you are using something like putty or another Emu here is the F Key Commands.
These keys work in ASA Enulation as well.

If you have not updated your firmware on the TN2602's this is a great load. More so if you are using MedPro resources across a network, and having call quality issues.
Released December 3, 2007
This release applies to all production vintage boards (HV2, HV4 to HV8).
FW 33 contains the...
Is the 8300/G700 an LSP, I ask only b/c you mention connecting to other boards. If so, once it is adminstered in CM (i.e enable announcement-board) and you connect to the primary server it shoud populate.
I sounds like a great thought in theroy. I wanted to do the same thing. However, the 8300 is passive and will not accecpt registration until it is in LSP mode (The primary pair wants to have complete call control). You can put the LSP address in you 176 option, but the phone builds a list of...
The concern would be DSP resources. Depending on Codec you could be very limited. You have to figure with all VoIP phones you will be using atleast one if not more DSP for each and every call. There are 64 resources on the board, and with compression you drop to 32. With 2 T-1 in a single...
On page 3 of the Station form in CM4 there is a field labeled "IP Phone Group ID" it will take a value of 1-999, does anyone know what this field is used for?
When I launch VMM Client it attempts to connect to the localhost, but then asks for a PW. No where during the set-up did it prompt me for one. Does anyone know the deafault?
Thanks
I would consider an S8300/G700
I would go all IP if you infrastructure can support it.
You will get an IA770 (small intuity) free. You could get 40 Intro Agents.
This will get you up and running, and you can leverage everything as you grow.
Windows 2003 Server 64-bit does not support IP Office Manager 4.0 and will not allow us to load the software, (the Administration suite.) We get a message saying it must be a 32-bit OS and terminates the install. however, we are able to install the VM Pro application and it appears to run...
As mentioned before, in order to get the higher levels of "Avaya Certs and product author." you have to have a valid ACA.
There are two ways to get your ACA Core taken care of. 1) Take the avaya exam. 2) take the CTP exam.
Both Mitel and Avaya accept CTP as their core, so I would go that...
I have a client that has an 8700 at their HQ site, and a G700 LSP at a remote site. They are at 2.2 on both.
I am trying to get a Polycom VSX 8000 working at the remote site. Avaya docs state that the MM720 BRI will not support stations until 3.0, and that the gateway will not H.323 stations...
