You know the scenario: You are editing something on say Page 3, and all the rest of the pages below get messed up (moved).

i am using Access 97 as frontend to Oracle8/8i.
Currently, I can use a command button to launch a link text stored in Oracle( as Varchar2 field ). As Oracle has no "Hyperlink" datatype, i have to use Varchar2.

Is there a Linux software backup package that will produce an EXACT replica of my harddisk(onto another HD)
A similar software is DiskCopy but it's for Windoz platform, not Linux.

i followed the instructions & everything was ok for the swf extension when i input "about:plugins" in Netscape.

Yes, my isp requires a proxy to access non-local sites.
DNS was set up fine.
Anyway, i found that the problem came about in LinuxConf, under PPP/SLIP tab, i deleted the ppp0 entry. When i readded a ppp0 entry and reconnected, everything works fine.
Is that a *required* setting?
I don't really remember what i did other than going to LinuxConf and unchecking the option "Activate PPP interface at bootup" as i didn't want the modem to dial-up everytime i boot(it dials but never connects proper) making the bootup slower.
