the MDaemon , as far as I have seen , works only od Server installations [Win2000, 2003 server or NT4]. or it may work [not tested!] if you have an internal DNS specified.
So when you power up your PC it boots to windows and the Daemon is set-up as Service thus starting no matter if you are...
i don't thing that Mdaemon supports that ...
nor any other email daemon what so ever..
you can send the mail wronglly and the ISP routes it out.. if it's not found on the destination ISP's list the mail will be routed back 2 you .. so you should recieve the mail with something like "retourned...
