hp 840c printer will not turn on automatically
Found out what was wrong! I unplugged power and the usb cable to the printer. Booted the comp and then plugged in power to the printer and plugged in the usb cable. Windows recognised the "new" hardware and I have the auto on feature on the printer running again!- chrose

Up until yesterday my 4 year old hp840c printer would (after the comp was booted) turn itself on automatically and print when I sent a print job to the printer.(What I mean is that I did not have to first press the power button on the printer).
