I have a customer that has 4 1603 IP Phones that were working fine last fall. they reconnected them to their system this spring and now they are getting the following error: procpswd = OK
any ideas on what I need to do to fix this?
the phones boot up with following messages:
DHCP: (seconds...
line appearance does not equal call appearance, correct? we have at least two call appearances per phone.
update: two of the customer's eight lines were shared by the fire alarm system...we took those two out of the system/line hunt on tuesday. we have had no reports of dropped calls since...
SCNIPoffice: did you reduced the transmit power and set impedance to "auto." in the IP Office settings? - we matched the impedence on the IP Office to match what the CO was presenting, but not sure on the transmit power setting.
also, not sure what you mean by bleed on the lines...or how you...
I had Qwest run a VOM test on the lines, here is what they came back with:
DC voltage: 42.3
current milliamps: 24.2
loss: -4.7
noise: 8.06
power inflow: 42.2
balance 78.6
They said the analog lines had been set up as PBX lines where the voltage is 42.3 vs. a standard CO line that is 48 volts...
they are using voicemail pro. both versions were the first release of IP Office R6.
I wish the problem was as simple as hooking a butt set up to the lines, but we tried that and have had difficulty replicating the problem. the dropped calls are intermittent, but frequent enough that we know...
We repunched all the lines to make sure connections are good. How do we do a loop test and what is a vom?

I like the thought but it seems like extra work for property staff...and the guest would still have to follow the steps to create their name when they log in to voicemail, correct? that's what we're trying to avoid...

I have a small hospitality customer that has about 35 analog phones (in addition to the main 15 5400 business phones) on an IP Office 500v2 R6.0. They didn't have enough money to purchase a hospitality package from DuVoice (that was the only package we looked at, but the cost was about $9K to...
I recently purchased a 3300 IP PBX with a few dozen 5302 phones. My users are complaining because the 5302's wait about 4 seconds after dial completion to connect a call (unless the user presses pound to complete the dial string, which they also say is a nuisance).
I talked with Mitel and...
perhaps if someone could list the actual steps to setup forwarding to a web-based email account, that would help the most.

I am trying to set up a new IP500 on 4.1 software with the new IP500 T1 Card (daughter card, not the legacy T1 card). I am trying to connect the IP Office to a partial PRI trunk from the CO with 6 active channels. I have only 8 of the PRI channels licensed on the IP Office. I cannot get the...
I am trying to set up a call accounting package (eCAS from Veramark) using the CDR output from the IP Office. I have set everything up as the instructions advise, but I can't get the IP Office to send the CDR records to a file. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can get the CDR to start...

I have a tried rebooting about 10 times, after pulling the config, and not. I have tried leaving the power off, reconnecting with the dongle, etc. The system is not seeing the dongle. I'm driving myself mad as this is rediculous.
