    please help I am trying to run a projector at 3200 * 768 over 3 screens we are using windows 2000 a Dell box with dual 2ghz xeon s 1gig ram and a matrox G200 Quad graphics card the app is pushing multiple bitmaps around the screen scaling and moving. I am surprised and disappointed...

    Flash movie running slowly in director 8

    Yes its not brilliant but I have used it ok just have to be a bit more cautious (useing direct to stage, no funny ink effects and also toggle low high quality if using heavy animation)

    import vectorshape

    you can import simple shapes from illustrator with a vector import xtra http://www.moshplant.com/direct-or/ps2vs/ although I prefer to take shapes from illustrator to flash and then import them into director as swfs happy new year everyone

    Also If you use illustrator copy and paste either into fireworks or flash and export as swf.
