:-)Thanks, Steph22, for your suggestion. I tried it, but that did not work either. I finally secured the help of another technician who ran the Office Uninstall, used a utility called Erase97.exe (to remove registry entries, I think), then deleted the Office directory. A reinstall of Office97...- doctorg

The options to export to Excel from Access 97 are missing.
I need to be able to use Access 97 and export to an Excel 97 spreadsheet, but the Excel options are not available on the File Save As menu dropdown in Access. I have re-installed Office 97 SR-1, added SR-2b, and re-run the Data Access install, all to no avail. Both Access and Excel seem to work...- doctorg
