    Are you saying that you can't install SMS at all, meaning that you are having a problem installing the SMS server piece on a Windows NT server? Make sure all minumum requirements are met. Or, are you getting that error from MOFCOMP? If so, you could have a syntax error. What is the error code...

    Actually, I managed to get it all worked out. I had messed up the syntax. Thanks anyway. BTW - Is the WMI SDK the only source out there for MOF information, or have you found another? Thanks.

    I've run across this problem in the past. Your best bet is to remove the SMS Client from the machine(s) that exhibits this behavior, delete all the extraneous profiles manually, and then reinstall the SMS Client.
