you would need to go to the maxtor website to download a program to set up your specific hd thats what i did with my seagate hd, and gigabyte 7n400pro2 no less than an hour ago- coverdinskin

ok got it to work....downloaded disc wizard from seagate...and applied it...but the disc screwed up the windows log off, and had to restart a couple times before the windows took hold...thanks for the reply though paparazi- coverdinskin

i have installed the invidia unified drivers, which include SATA drivers.....and the ethernet in enabled but the driver is faulty....- coverdinskin
