Hmmm, you'd think this would be a built-in function, not a work-around function, but a work-around will do.
I think we want to keep auto-mailbox-login (I think I understand what this is as we don't have to login to access VM). So it looks like I'll have to try the ol'...
Ok, either I'm not following you or you're not following me.
Once a call has reached out Operator by the caller's dialing x101, the operator wants to get the caller back to either our main menu (Custom Service 1) or a specific Sub-Menu (Custom Service 20).
So to recap: Caller gets to Main...
We have a situation where people miss the prompt in our Main Menu and dial the Operator (no longer on 0) and we want to transfer them to a specific Custom Service Menu. Is this possible? If so, how do you accomplish this seemingly simple feat?
As always, my unending gratitude,
Greg
Noted. We ended up going with option #2 above. It was easy to setup, easy to understand, easy to change and it keeps all four ports of our TVS together for higher availability.
That definitely clears things up! Thanks a LOT!
Option 1 was what I was thinking.
Option 2 (one message, four ports) might be doable but we've been directing traffic to a separate phone line but I guess we could just have THAT number point to our regular main number.
Option 2 is definitely...
I think I've got the Ring Assignments part; in the KXTD-1232 I assign the Day/Night Mode to the proper VM Extention (x167 in this case) but I'm still not sure about the Voice Mail Groups...
Thanks again!
Greg
Alright, I know it's been a while but I'm back at it.
We have 4 ports.
I'd like to take 1 or 2 ports and make them look like a separate company (their own messages and menus). It should only do this for calls coming in on a particular phone number (CO).
I think I understand how to create the...
Since I'm pretty sure I don't have a clue what you're talking about maybe you could 'splain? I can do some of the basics with the system, setup/change/move extentions, add lines, setup mailboxes, etc. but nothing too fancy. I DO have the PC access to both the PBX and the TVS though. BTW, the...
I was looking through some past posts but haven't really found a solution to what we're trying to accomplish.
We have a main store and a service department and right now our main store is using the Automated Attendant to pick up calls (with menu). The service dept has it's own direct line in...
Thanks for the reply! Management wants it all but of course they don't want to pay for it so I guess we're stuck with the fwd'ing to vmail solution.
Thanks again for the reply!
Greg
Is it possible to have multiple after-hours schedules?
Our Service Department closes at a different time from the rest of the store and we'd like their phones to switch to our "we're closed" message on a different schedule. Possible on a KX-TD1232? Easily?
Thanks!
Greg
I think your assessment of corrupt data was correct because three of the phones in question defaulted to ring group 1 when they were on 2. They appear to be working now.
Thanks again.
Yes, I'm power cycling the KSU and VMS.
Unfortunately our backup is ancient so I'm afraid that's not really an option :(
I reset the system again last night and the problem persists.
Greg
For some reason our system is not allowing users to pickup another user's call by dialling "40" as usual. after a system reset it was ok for a few days then it forgot again! Also, it seems to only affect calls coming in from outside lines, intercom calls appear to be uneffected.
Thoughts?
Greg
I am having a problem programming SOME of my Flexible CO Buttons on a KX-T7220 phone (with KX-TD1232). A few of the buttons that I had programmed previously simply stopped working one day. Whenever I try to reprogramm them it won't LET me!
Procedure:
1) press PROGRAM button
2) dial "99"
3)...
