To all:
Is there a "best practice" for booting netware (either 5.1 or 6) from a san? I have heard "keep you dos partition on a local drive", and "you cant do it!" So, is it possible? Should I just keep the sys vol local, and put data out there or what? Please...
Hello. I wrote a couple days ago with Emulex LP8000 woes, which I have now solved. (whew) Now, the problem seems to be there is no support for failover pathing. If I start a large copy out to my SAN, and pull the link out of the primary card, it should think about it for a few seconds and...
Ok. I did not see the LP8000 adapter in the disk options box. I tried everything I could think of, too. I put a call in to Emulex who then handed off to Hitachi (the maker of the san). I will see what they have to say, and then come back here when I run out of options. I appreciate all your...

Help!! I can't get any property pages to display on my win2k server box. When I try to close out of the main window, it says I have to close all property pages before I close the main window, but none are being displayed! Does anyone know anything about this?? You are my last hope.
Thanks very much for the reply! I did not put the astart6 command in the Autoexec.ncf file. Also, I do not have any open agents running. And I do not have any errors on startup. (i.e. no abends, or anything). So, to clarify, when any job is performed in Arcserve, unless the server is...
Help!! I am running Novell 5.1, spack 2a and arcserve 6 for Netware. After I run a job, wether it be a backup or a restore or whatever, I need to reboot the server in order for Arcserve to run another job! This is not happening on any other servers, just this one. I have called the tech...
