I thought I did. So lets just deal with this question.
Two phones have a button programmed for sethuntgroupnightservice. But they are supposed to activate different night rings. How do they distinguish between them.
Rich
We have an issue where the night ring is getting turned on and the receptionist swears she is not doing it.
The phone system is common among departments and the one is question belongs to City Hall. I just noticed that there is a button on the city hall phone for sethuntgroupnightservice on the...
I tried the loopback and it worked but my lack of ping issue turned out to be the wireless router my notebook (pinging device) was connected to. Once I got connected with cable, all was good.
Thanks all !
I just ran INETCFG and it shows I have the tcp/ip protocol and its already enabled. Shows an IP of 10.0.1.2.
But its not working. I am on the same network with this PC and have did an IPconfig and am on the same subnet. But I cant ping the server IP.
I just added LOAD tcpip to the exec file...
The database is on there and functioning. Its a server for book records at a small public library. The clients connect to the server now with IPX and that has been working for years. They bought an option to allow the community to connect to this database. It required adding another machine...
Thank you Marvin.
So just type INETCFG.NLM at the prompt and go from there?
I am assuming it will give me option to setup IP and subnet from there?
Thanks again
Rich
Let me start off by saying I am not a Novell guy :) < Thats my idiot disclaimer !
Anyway, I have a customer than has a Novell Server running IPX. They have a new program that runs on one of their client machines that needs to use TCP/IP to talk to the database thats on the server.
The server...
Trying to get a handle on all our lines etc. Opened up IP Manager and there is a list of numbers in the incoming call route. The are listed as
0-9368
0-9369
etc..
We have about 5 different prefixes on our lines and cant figure out how to tell what the prefix is for these numbers.
How do I...
We had a Exchange partition run out of space. I have implemented limits and users have cleaned up their act. They have dumped about 3 gig in files which I can see in the exchange manager. However, the drive is still full.
What is the process for purging this? I have the option set to keep...
We have some phones without a transfer button. Our 4412D+ have this ability but a dozen of our phones do not.
I dont see where this is an option under emulation, etc. Is there a way to do this?
Rich
This is starting to make sense. The voicemail box crashed a while back. Had to rebuild the routing and menus from scratch and we had no idea what was there.
IPhello, you are correct, thats exactly what we hear.
I think I will drop the whole voicemail server shortcode and change it to the above...
Under the user button 4 has "Dial" and "*56".
If you go to the shortcode for *56 it has the following:
Shortcode *56
Telephone number #Directvm
Line Group ID 0
Feature VoiceMailNode
Thanks
Rich
I am trying to figure out how to put someone directly into VM from the receptionist desk.
Here phone has a shortcode on button ( *56)
Looking up *56 in the shortcodes it shows #directVM.
Just cant figure out the procedure to use it. Dont know if we have to put them on hold, etc.
Thanks in...
Jamie,
No, I did not. Only because it worked after my last go around and did not want to mess it up.
But I can do so if needed. Where would you add this? At the end of what? Surely not the VM/Menu module.
Rich
Thanks for the reply !
I ended up getting it working. So now I need to add a couple features.
1) I need to allow them to change the message for the attendant. In my case its called "Lib Attend" and is a module in voicemail pro.
I think this is where I would use a short code but have not made...
I am no expert. Brand new actually.
But I just did this from scratch and got it working without problems. the voicemail is on its own box. I had to look up the voice mail server IP address in IP office so I could set the IP on the voice mail server.
Then I installed the VMP software. Once...
I am new at this and must be missing something. I have an IP office 400 system and VoiceMail Pro.
I am trying to get the auto attendant to work. I guess it would be nice if we could make it pick up after X rings but for now, I am tring to get it to kick in when we set it to night ring.
We have...
