    Because I have a dual monitor display and I want to be able to quickly navigate another InDesign Doc that contains text frames that I can easily cut and paste into the my main InDesign document instead of the clunky way of switching the view from the menu bar.

    Is it possible to have multiple instances of InDesign running? Whenever I try I open two files of InDesign it always gets appended to the current InDesign application running. Thanks!
