My soft version in the switch is
boot version: 1.9
software version: 4.1.15
and exact error is :
The switch reports "diagnostic failed" when you power
it up. And in the logs it reports "port 17 failed
port transceiver loop back test"
Can anything be done with it or it's a loss.
I have Extreme Networks Summit 48 switch and I'm getting loopback error on port #17. Is there anything can be done for that or is there a firmware update to fix this error. I had same problem with 3com switch firmware upgrade fixed it. Let me know what can be done.
