According to the Cover Page of the file, it was revised in March 2006. I am sure that Avaya had made changes to the Partner line up since then. As far as prices go, I am not certain. I would guess that the figures are MSRP. This document seems to have been co-authored by Ron Rogers. I believe he...
Fellas! (and ladies!) I found the most amazing spreadsheet when I was trying to update my FAQ. I seriously recommend you take a look at it and down load it for your records onto your laptops for field use. It is faq688-5568 in the FAQ section.

There is an RAU (Remote Administration Unit) bouncing around made by AT&T (so you can guess how old and possibly unavailable this unit is. This is the link to the manual for it http://support.avaya.com/edoc/docs/partner/parraui1.pdf

Also, I wonder if this is related, I cannot RS232 into the PM Module. I have the 355A wired correctly, I have the terminal set to 19200, 8, N, 1, just like it should be. I do get the boot up info, but no matter how many times I hit the Enter key, no login appears. Any ideas fellas??? TTT HELP...
I have ACS version 6 and Partner Messaging version 1. The date and time on the ACS are 05/13/08 and 11:15 am, but the date/time on the Messaging Mocule is 07/09/2007 and 19:39. I thought the PM read the ACS for date/time. What do I do now?

Well, I haven't seen you guys in a coon's age! :) So I have a question!
ACS R6.0
Messaging R1
I know that you can use the PC app to import AA announcements (day/night menus) from the PC as a wav file. Can the mailbox announcements be imported as well?
I have not found a way to do this via...
I perfer the labels from http://www.overtechinc.com They don't have the cuts in the paper that the labels from desi do. There is a less likely chance of the labels getting caught in the printer.

I assume that you are referring to a PCMCIA card slot on the laptop, right aarenot. There should be an old-school adapter for that, one that would provide you with a serial port from a PCMCIA card slot. Rare to find, but I do believe they made them.

You can also plug a modem into any of the station ports to dial into the ACS assuming that you have a RAC (Remote Access Card), this is the card that contains the modem in order to allow you to do what you want to do. Make sure that the extension that you are plugging in to has the ALS (Auto...
aarenot, That's BRILLIANT! Sometimes the easiest/cheapest solutions are the best. Just make sure the alarm clock doesn't have a battery backup of it's own! [wink]
BTW, if you can be cheesy from WI, can I be corney from IA? [wiggle]

One suggestion I have is that you can program a button on everyone else's phone to do a pick-up ext 10 if they are within earshot of the phone at ext 10.
So here's what could happen:
A call comes in and either they zero out or they time out to be transferred to ext 10. Ext 10 starts to ring...
The DND option was the one I was going to suggest, but that's still going to be an end user compliance issue. It'll only work if everyone does just as suggested, if you're not at your desk, turn on DND, if you are, turn off DND. Maybe develop a "whoopie cushion" that will tell the system whether...
I am curious, did you try the power off, remove batteries, let the memory drop (5 minutes ought to do it), replace the batteries, power back-up, and reprogram?
You might even be able to restore from backup if you are sure that the backup is not corrupted.
Did either of those work or did you...
Will the ACS know it's a fax call without having the line active? I was under the impression that only once the line is active, especially if VM picked up the incoming line, did the ACS know to move the call into Hunt Group 8. Does the ACS eavesdrop on theeline even before an extension picks up...
I believe that is true, the PC admin software does not allow for the upgrade of a lower version translation to an upper version translation. I wish it were possible to upgrade translations on Partner as you describe for Toshiba. As a Systems Administrator I could see how that could be possible...
Hopefully, you have an ACS and a system display phone at extension 10. Should both of these be the case, while extension 10 is idle and on the hook, dial [Feat][5][9]. The display should say something like [ACS 3.0.1 CO 01]. In this example the system is telling you that:
ACS = Advanced...
Ah, I see what Pepperz is getting at. I have noticed that Merlin Messaging does record the CID when you use the web interface to access your VM but Partner Messaging does not.
I have not found a version of Partner Messaging yet that does record the CID for inspection through the web interface...
