How to burn an iso file from an HMC ?
Hi, Is there a way (or a command or something else) to burn an ISO file stored on a HMC directly with the DVD-RAM of this HMC ? I am sure there is a way since the system backup burns a DVD ... but what is the command to burn any other ISO file ? Thanks -

We found the error. We reset the NVRAM and then reboot. Now all works fine. This issue appeared after a power cut, and i think the firmware was ko. Thanks for your help. -

Yes they are: 1X2.1X.109.<this only change> There are no firewall. They are not on the same switch. Note that I try udp, tcp ... it is the same result ! Can it be a switch issue ??? -

I don't anderstand this part of your answer: "you need to also change the system profile on the HMC for part2" What does this mean ? Is it a command to run on AIX on part2 or it is something to do on the HMC ? thanks -

I thinj, you misunderstood what I described. Let me give you much more details. I have the both partitions part1 and part2. Let says that the part1 owns the cd0. I want to install part2 from the cdrom. I first detach the cd from part1. I move with the HMC the cd from part 1 to part2. Then I run... -

Hi, I have a POWER5 machine with several micro-partition defined. OK, thanks for the tools ... to compile it for Aix just delete the -lsocket flag option and use cc instead of icc. Ok, netstat -v works only for non virtual ethernet adapter. Thanks. -

Hi, Just a question on ethernet performance. Is there a way to get the selected value by the Auto-negociation ethernet adapter ? Is it available for Virtual Ethernet too ? because it seems we do not have the same information between real eth and virtual et ? Thnaks.
