Has anyone seen this? I have checked the automatic work and wrap-up timers (15 seconds). The agents are saying that after they go not ready, that they are randomly put back into ready. Supervisors claim they don't manually put the agents back in ready. I have checked in the Admin desktop and...
I have an Option 81 at a hospital with a remote cabinet to our somewhat attached division office. I am getting complaints from a few users on the remote cabinet about callers not hearing ringback when they call these users. We are having a little trouble duplicating the problem, as it is...
Hi,
We are decommishing a Nortel Option 11C with Symposium. I have another division in our company interested in getting our Symposium licenses transferred, as well as some ACD licenses transferred from the PBX. Is this possible? What are the basic steps? Thanks.
Thanks a ton, Buddy!!
This is a small 3 person call center. They have a procedure that includes checking the voice mail in the AM. At some point in the past, this was broken. No one told me anything, until now of course there is an urgent need for this again. No telling how long it has been...
I forgot how to set one of these up. I have our Symposium setup to after hours forward to an extension, which is supposed to be a mailbox. However, I need to setup a phantom TN that is a mailbox only (or forward to mailbox). How do I set this up? Thanks
It's an Option 11. It doesn't give me an error when I do a retrieve on the sync. This is a system that I rarely get into and I can't currently get in to check the version.
Once I select the system in OTM, I try to open the overlay terminal. It prompts for the user and password (which is...
I am having trouble getting to the command line in OTM. I have tried the station admin and sync'ed with no errors, but cannot get into the overlay. Says cannot connect. Username and password have not changed.
Is there something with TTY or ELAN that needs to be reset on the switch side? Thanks
Okay, let me start by saying I don't have a ton of info on this issue. We have a vendor working at one of our hospitals trying to upgrade the Nortel. To do this, he is setting up a BCM at a second hospital and connecting the 2 via SIP. Calls can go from one side to another, phone rings, but call...
So, I am guessing it should be set as an internal route for this forward? Will it allow the forward to 8712 once its internal?
What is the process of checking and changing it to an internal route? Thanks for the info dulf.
Okay, here is my latest dilemma...
I have a Cisco Call Manager and Nortel 81C tied together. The 87xx block has been set as a DSC and now users on the Nortel side cannot do a CFW to a 87xx. (8712 for example). You get a fast busy when hitting the done button during the CFW process. I am pretty...
Forgive my ignorance here, GHTROUT. I appreciate your help. Let me give the full view of what I am doing...
I have Cisco wireless phones that need to dial 4486, forward across the TIE and dial the 4486 spree code. I have created the route pattern on the Cisco side, so I am covered from there...
Thanks. So the option may be to setup a phantom extension and have that number hot dial 4486? I setup an analog phantom extension. How do I setup the hot dial or auto forward?
Hey I am trying to dig way back in my brain on setting up a spree code on an Option 81c. I have a request to setup a number that will auto dial a spree code of 4486. Any configuration help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Maybe someone knows and easier way, but you could forward each phone externally to the new number. You would have to do a CFXA in CLS and then RCF the phones. The bad thing is this would tie up 2 B channels for every 1 call and you would have to change the CFW for all phones.
Forward your PRI lines to the new numbers? I don't understand. You have 2 separate systems running on seperate PRIs and you want to move the DIDs from one PRI to the other?
