I have a client with an Inter-tel Encore CX. They want me to make some programming changes to the system. I have an Avaya background and am unfamiliar with this system. according to what I have read so far I should be able to access system programming from ext 20. it is not allowing me...
I will verify with my test set. Can anyone quickly step me through where I would check in the programming. I am finding it difficult to navigate this system. Mainly due to lack of familiarity and partly due to being spoiled using my laptop on other systems. No Fast RAD on this.
It has 2 cards both are NT7MK0D2260A REL02 Global CLID ANALOG TC. I had my friend power down the system and reverse the cards. Line 3 came back up and everything is now working fine. Well....except now the Caller ID is no longer showing up on the stations. I still consider this great progress...
It is definitely punched down on the right pairs. I had pulled the card and reseated the card and the amp cable. All seems fine there. I don't have a spare card. This system only has 2 slots on the KSU. I am assuming one is the line card and the other a station card. Are these only 4 line...
There is no dialtone on the key programmed as line 3. I get dialtone on the 66 block and have swapped line three with line 4 on the block to verify it is not a trouble from the CO. I don't know enough about Norstar fix this I have an Avaya background. It is frustrating.
I'm not there now but my friend is going to do the *0 feature code to double check. I should have that verified in about an hour. Just seems strange that the programming would disappear on all 6 phones. Assuming *0 shows that it is programmed as line 3 what next? Bad port? Thanks for...
Hello all, Came from an Avaya background and new to this system. Norstar Plus Compact ICS. System had 4 line keys on all the phones(6 in total). Now line 3 seems to be missing when pressed from a phone. I verified that the POTS line is working and even swapped it with line 4 so it's not a...
We have a IPO 406 v2 running 3.2(55). An IP line goes from the IPO to our Definity G3 via a point to point T1.
If an IPO user calls an extension on the G3 it will go to busy if not picked up in 3 rings or less. If a G3 user calls an IPO extension it will ring until picked up(as it should)...
I have just learned that we can't use the 1812 because it won't acccept WIC cards. Currently our T1 channels are split by an Adtran for voice and data. The Adtran goes to our existing 1750 routers WIC 1T card.
My best guess is the 1841 with security would have to be purchased and then I could...
Ok I m definately a newb. *grin*
I was just informed that 1812 routers can't handle T1's and we would have to use a 1841 with the security feature. A jump from An $800 solution to a $1500 one.
Hello all. I have been thrown in the deep end and could really use some help.
We are currently using Cisco 1700 series routers in our branches. They are connected to our 7200 in the operations center via a PTP T1 and a ISDN dial backup.
Fios is now available in one of our branch areas and I...
One of the subscibers on our merlin messaging system cannot get ino his mailbox. He gets the message," You cannot get your messages now because your mailbox is allready in use, Please disconnect, Goodbye.".
It has been like this for 3 days now. He claims he pressed one to record a message and...
BoBAz, Thanks for the info. My goal is to use the Asterisk without adding any cards to it(except NIC). Eventually i will try it with some analog ports and keep them around as replacement for older sites that go down.
