My office is in the process of updating our branch office G350 in preparation for migrating our primary server.
Have had no issue with the majority, but there is one that is not playing nice. Copied the updated firmware to not active boot bank. Verified that copy completes, no fault messages...
There is an option in the phone's local 'craft' menu interface where the port can be disabled, but an not currently working at a facility that has the phone available to me to tell you exactly where to find it.
Our company has 2 Operation's Centers offices, one in the Eastern portion of the U.S. and one on the Western portion with branch offices located throughout the US, Canada and PR. The Primary servers are S8720 located at the Eastern Operations centers and the majority of the voice traffic is...
Thank you for the response all.
Later in the day we were able to resolve the matter. In lieu of having the Signaling group / Tie line scenario, we were able to conclude that a Mapping entry in our SES specific to the Intercall calling number needed to be entered. We are still traversing the...
We are working on a project with Intercall so that our offices can place SIP-to-SIP calls to save on the expense of utilizing public networks. All of the networking pieces are configured and we know that we have the appropriate paths to reach their network. The final piece was putting together...
MAS Version 4. We have recently had a rash of instances where we are Maxing the number of available IMAP4 connections. Most outlook clients are using 2008 or 2010 and we provide connectivity to voice mail through the Outlook IMAP connection.
In the past we have had sparatic issues maxing...
I am reasonbly new to the organization I'm working for and this is my first postion where SIP trunks have been implemented.
S8720 servers, CM 5.1.2 and they have managed the SIP trunking primarily through the carrier (Sprint), as far as I've found there is use of session manager server. At...
This is not a new system but out of the blue, for no known reason, our 1692 and 4690 Polycoms have been dropping conference call. Operating an S8730, CM5.2.1 with multiple locations serviced by G450's and G700's all registering back to main.
When it occurs, the call will last for only 3-5...
I have an 2 S8720 servers running CM5.1 operating as redundunant servers. Over the weekend we performed a clean shutdown in order to do some facilities work. The primary server came back up without problems, but our backup server is failing a file systems check and will not restart.
Each...
As an inbound telemarketing firm servicing customer 800 number services, we would use it as a means for our customers to do their own agent monitoring. We would provide the customer a barrier code and the VDN monitor feature codes for their own numbers.
I am trying to utilize the Web based Upgrade tool to apply Firmware upgrades to MM717 boards (firmware ver 4 to 8)
I have ftp'd the update file to the server. If I understand correctly, the only fields I should have to poplulate in the Upgrade screen are the upgrade file under 'Media gateway...
There is also a softkey that will do this. On the station admin form it is 'int-aut-an'. If you look at the menu it will display as HFAns. You can either de-select this at the station, or remove from the softkeys altogether. I've never found a user yet that has any use for this feature.
Thank you guys for steering me in the right direction to solve this.
It does end up being a permissions issue, but per your posts I was looking at the wrong side of the fence. Using the TAC was indeed piping me to the other office's Trunk to make the outbound call. By launching a trace on...
For testing purposes we have a single IP trunk set-up between our switch (S8500 CM3.1) and a switch at a remote office (S8700 CM3.1) in a different part of the country. Parameters on each end are exact.
Using the TAC, I can dial trunk-to-trunk fine (office extension to office extension). I...
