installed new wireless NIC and now mouse locks up
At first it appeared that the mouse was locking up but on further inspection it is the machine that is locking up. Can't even do CNTL-ALT-DEL to get to task manager to see what's happening. Without any warning the machine just quits responding to mouse movements or keyboard strokes. Checked...- raynabear

I have a Sony VAIO desktop Model PCV-RX860 running Windows XP Home. I have a cable modem and D-Link DI-524 2.4 Ghz Wireless D-Link DI-524 802.11G Router. Everything is working fine concerning the networking but now for some reason the mouse now locks up. I checked the IRQ's and don't see any...- raynabear
