Thanks for the response, have you (or Avaya) any suggestions on how best to get these 1500 phones to update their certificates without us having to
1. Disable network authentication on all our switches
2. Factory reset all our phones
3. reset all phones to load up 46xxsettings file again
4. An...
I have the same issue,
A 90% certificate expiry warning has flashed up on all our phone displays (all 1500 of them) and caused widespread panic.
SET TRUSTCERTS CertChain.pem
SET MYCERTCN $MACADDR
SET SCEPPASSWORD xxxxxx
SET MYCERTURL http://xxxxxxxxx.xxx/certsrv/mscep/mscep.dll

If you have the extn and correct SM SIP trunk/s in the Public unknown numbering (or private unknown numbering table) it should pass out the CLI in the FROM header on a SIP trace (CM will add a + prefix to a SIP trunk) this can be removed on SMGR if your not using the e.164 format.
A traceSM...
When you do a 'list survivable' is it showing Y (registered) and N (active)
If there is still a station or Media gateway registered to the ESS it wont receive any translations from the core CM
All,
Is there a way to 'Campon Busy' the SBCE servers from the EMS management interface or SSH command line so as not to disconnect current active calls but deny any new traffic.
Many thanks
It doesn't look like the DID translations are in the aar table, unless it's in
lis aar Ana loc x (check locations)
Can you identify the trunk?
List trunk
Then
Disp trunk x
If the DID digits coming in are only 4 digits long
I.e 1740 and matches the ext 1740
Then no entries will be needed...
Sorry for the delayed response
Can you share a screenshot of the first page of the trunk
It may be that the inbound digit translations are done in the aar digit translation table
List aar dig
Have a look
Yes you will need to create 6 x VDN's and match them to your incoming DNIS numbers
You will see the inc-call handling on the trunk that carries your 800 DNIS numbers
cha inc tru x (x = trunk number)
if for example the DNIS points to extensions currently, you will see the digit translations...
I ended up extracting the data from the table in excel in to new tabs and then arranging it in to the correct format so I could copy and paste the info needed straight in to the AdminAdaptation.xml file
There seems to be no Avaya instruction or excel template for the 'routing' section in System...
Same result, I can view the adaptations but can't figure a way to save the excel table in the correct xml format. I'm trying to get the table... Or just the digit fields.., out to notepad in the correct xml format so I can copy/paste the text to the adminAdaptation.xml file.
If you have any...
Firstly do you have the feature to add announcements on your system, i.e. a VAL board or Media Gateway (G450,G700,G350 etc..)
secondly do you have VDN/Vectoring enabled?
If yes to the above then
1. Create an announcement extension
2. Use the Announcement Access feature code (disp sys feat) to...
I'm assuming your SIP trunk is via SBCE
Do you have putty access (root login details) to it?
you will get more detail if you run traceSBC (use filter -u to catch the specific number dialled)
if not try running a trace on the EMS (B1) interface
Not sure if you have this level of access
If the supervisor has access to ASA (Site administration), and the agents are using the auto-in feature to come out of Aux work
You could try the command
List trace station xxxx/yy
xxxx = extension number - (Not agent-id)
yy = button number +6 where the auto-In button resides
So if the...
Hi Jassie,
When you go off hook on any Avaya IP phone, two things happen:
1. A signalling path (h.323) is established to the main CM Server Processor Ethernet Interface (Procr)
2. An RTP Audio path is set up to a Media Gateway (I am assuming you have MG's, if not then it will be to the MedPro...
Hi,
I have a large number of adaptations to add to system manager for our incoming DDI digit translations on the SIP trunk entity.
I have exported all the routing tables and can see the xml files when I unzip the exported data folder (NRPExportData)
How can I get these xml files in a table...
Hi Kyle,
This makes sense and is in line with what is being recommended by our BP. We either have to have a lot of entities (for adaptations) or lots of Sig groups with sub-domains that can be manipulated on the SBCE script.
I still need to set up 4 x sig groups for each site to handle SM...
Hi
I am hoping there are some System/Session Manager experts who can recommend the best best way to set up trunks and routes out of our international Avaya platform. Our SIP trunk Provider is BT (GSIP) and we have 30+ locations around the globe routing in/out of our EMEA hub. This is a 50/50...
