Hello,
Running Adobe Captivate on XP SP2, IE7. Any way to disable tooltips (tool tips) from appearing in the capture? These "pop-up" windows appear when you mouse over links or buttons.
I've tried these and disabled them:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre...
Are your backup jobs completing successfully? Make sure by looking at the byte counts for the backup byte count then the verify byte count (if you have verify enabled).
You were just waiting for someone to say something, huh! Either way, very clever.
I'd like to see a sample of those characters...probably like the pictographs that they derive modern kanji from. I want a big one in my house...and a throne. :D
Let me just make it simpler:
I have scheduled a WeeklyFullJob, that I created to write to Tape1 when I created the job. If I put in Tape2 and run WeeklyFullJob, the Tape2 gets labeled as Tape1.
How do I prevent windows backup from relabeling the tapes without having to select each time the...

Hello,
Outlook 2007 on XP SP2, all updated.
I have a PST, 600MB. I open the pst from the location on the hard drive and it's displayed in the left hand pane. I click the PST and the only thing that displays is the PST as if it was an e-mail message. The size is 600MB, the subject is the name...
Awesome! That does change the font for the inbox pane. It doesn't change the Mail/Mail folders pane all the way on the left BUT the inbox pane is where we read most so most important.
Thanks tf1
Hi tf1,
That seems to change the font for the normal.dot template. Good info.
How about changing the UI font for Outlook 2007? I know how to change the message fonts. How about the fonts for the mail and inbox panes/containers?
thanks!
Are you using GRT granular restore technology? I know that an installation of the latest build for 11d might help:

Sounds like the quickest fix would be to fix the or buy a modem so that it can use ethernet. That way you can use just the wireless router as the router for DCHP plus you should have about 5 ports for physical connections.
All the wireless router needs is an IP that can be routed to the...
Remember that if you've removed the "inherit permissions" checkbox in the security tab, any newly created or copied folders in the directory will not inherit perms set on the root OR retain perms from the original location (respectively).
For NTFS perms, Copy retains, Move inherits.

Thanks for the insight. Yes, there is no circulation in this room and I suggested getting a stand fan to help with that, especially since there aren't any major servers in there. Just a network closet.
Good tips.
Hello,
XP SP2, Office 2k7 updated here.
Any of you guys know how to change the default 'segoe UI' font to something else? People are calling this a hideous font yet no definitive solution to changing it.
I've been in Outlook > tools > options > other tab > advanced options > font > changed...
Yes, the data in the DB is stored in UK date format DD/MM/YYYY. The tool we use pulls the data appropriately but with our US region systems it gets interpreted wrong as MM/DD/YYYY.
So yes, it's confirmed that the data is originally ambiguous dd/mm/yyyy format then converting to DMY it switches...
Thanks for the really quick reply guys. I'm sure the unambiguous statement will work but without access to the code, here's what can be done as a workaround:
Excel 2007:
select the column > click on the "Data" menu > "text to columns" > select default settings for steps 1 and 2 in the wizard >...
Hello,
I have a date format issue with excel 2k7 pulling from a sql DB.
A reporting spreadsheet.xls pulls dates in the DD/MM/YYYY format. Excel thinks that this format is MM/DD/YYYY so any changes to the date display format in cell properties is wrong (days and months are switched).
Any...
Thanks for your quick posts. I double checked my collation and saw that it was defaulted to Latin. I changed this to Japanese_CI_AI_KS_WS and it worked beautifully.
I also read somewhere that you can have a separate collation for each column in the table. Haven't found out how to do this yet...
