Is IP routing enabled on the switch? command: ip routing :in global config mode.
Also are you using RIP or OSPF?
For your DHCP server add the command, IP HELPER-ADDRESS <ip of dhcp Server> to the interfaces and allow ip directed broardcast.
I need to implement an OSPF (Cisco) Routing protocol into a 3Com (RIP) Domain, mainly because our network has out grown RIP.

It is more likely to do with WINS DNS and Netbios. Try using an access-list with a time range, have a look at this site.

So basically the 801 does not remember the time on reload. Am I right in saying this, the only way it would work is if I had a NTP Server?
When I recently setup an 801 to use ISDN dialin, I set the clock and date. But on reload it does not remember the setting. We do not use an NTP server, so is there a way for it to store and remember the setting on power down?
