I'm having a very strange problem - when I edit a text file (using Windows) that's located on my Linux box, I can save the file, but if the file is shorter than it was previously, it doesn't get truncated. So, file "foo" has contents "123456789". I replace this content with "abcdef", and the...- DougHowser
