    How to get drive sizes

    I was using a W2k pro station. I have just upgraded to XP. Periodically, I need to UNC to servers and check the drive space, basically '\\servername\c$'. Under W2k pro, it would show the free space in the left pane, but with XP, it will not. Is there any way to turn that feature on? Thanks!

    Thanks to you all. I am an admin, not a dba, so heretofore I have skillfully avoided having to deal with databases. However, with so many 3rd party apps requiring sql now, I have no choice, and of course, we do not have a SQL DBA on staff, just Oracle. Thanks again!

    I will keep looking. Odd thing, after I came back from lunch, another machine is now listed in WINS as inet~services Domain controller (it's not a DC either) and the original W2kpro machine no longer has that entry. Weird. Thanks for your help.
