I'm getting that error. I think you're right, it's not the CR but Access which is limited only to 255 fields. I'll try compacting and repairing it and hopefully it's going to work for me too. Thanks!
Hello,
Is there a maximum number of fileds that I can show in one subreport? If so, is there a way to manually increase this limit? I'm using CR10 on WinXP Pro. Thank you!
I'm running CR10 on WinXP. The report I'm trying to generate is grouped on different cities (139 of them). I have a subreport template, which should be populated 139 times. This template has 4 pages. In total the report should have 556 pages (4 * 139). When my preview hits page 176 (44th city)...
I do have the tables linked, an outer left join from BOD.Nat to Quest.Nat. "Nat" is a group of people in a survey, in this case everybody, sort of like National (later I will need to base it on other groups, but let's figure out this one first). Q1 is a question in a questionnaire (Quest). Each...
Hello,
I'm having a problem calculating a weighted average. I have two tables: Quest and BOD. Now I would like to calculate the weighted average of a variable called q1 (quest) with a weights variable called weights (quest) based on a group variable from BOD called NAT.
I'm using the...
OK...I know why the count function spits out different result than the sum function; it counts the zeroes as well. Can I compute the percentage of 1's in a filed using the count function?
I'm trying to substitute the sum with count, but I'm not getting the same answers. For example the
sum({@1},{bmog2.NAT) should equal count({@1},{bmog2.NAT), shouldn't it? (Since {@1} consists of only 1's).
The sum function returns the sum of all 1's in the set. The count function for some...
Thank you for your reply! I do get an error however. When I create the second formula it tells me that the {@1} field name is unknown. These two formulas should be seperate, correct?
I have a field with the following values (1,2,3 or 4). I want to calculate the percentage of 1's in this field. Do I need a loop for this? Please help. Thank you!
I use CR10 with Access.
I have three levels of information (NATIONAL, STATE, CITY). For each of those, the formulas in the report have to differ by the grouping (NATIONAL will compute averages using all data, STATE will compute averages for each of the state in the database). Is it possible to have only one template if...
