The thread header is "Connection Manager is not running at the specified port number" trust me anyone getting that error message is going to read this thread.
So if you are getting that error message, and you're running a Netware server, it maybe be b/c Pervasive engine has not been started...

My problem has been solved. Pervasive engine wasn't running on the server. I fixed it by going to the server console and typing [i]MGRSTART[/b]

Hey foolio, for some reason pervasive is trying to find the server at 192.168.1.90. Thats not the IP anymore, its been changed. I edited all the hosts files making sure they point to the right number, and I can ping the server by name or IP from the client.

I have finally solved this problem. Only took a day and a half ^_^
In case it helps anyone: I editted the 'host' file on each machine to add the server name and ip. It might not even be a pervasive issue. I have no idea.
