Thanks a lot for the responses so far. We do have NetBios over TCP enabled at the server and the client. We do also use Active Directory. Everyone lost their ability to browse again this morning. We rebooted the domain controller and they were again able to access resources. Very strange....

We're not using NetBeui--I'll try it but didn't think we had to with XP clients. We are using Wins and also LMHosts for name resolution. We're using Watchguard for VPN and disconnecting doesn't help. Thanks for the comments so far. Please let me know if you think of anything else to check.

I've done that and everything is as it should be there. The odd thing is if I search for a date, for example:after 5/28/01 and before 5/30/01 it will return the 29th's data but if I search for 5/29/01 I get blanks.
