Hello
We are using WSS 3.0. I would like to limit the following shared documents aspects:
1. Number of documents up loaded to a page.
2. Number of folders uploaded/created.
3. Physical size of the total number of files and folders uploaded.
Thanks
Guy
Thanks Mike.
That's great, but when I try to attach a document to a contact, I only have the facility to browse my conventional shared network drives in ACT, how can I pick up the documents on Sharepoint? The browse function doesn't show sharepoint.
Thanks again
Guy
We are thinkling of going down the sharepoint route.
Does anyone know if you can still attach documents to a company or contact if that doc is on the sharepoint server?
We are just about to upgrade from ACT 9.0 from 8.0.
Many Thanks
Guy
Hello
I've been using Layout Designer in Act 8.0 to create a new database design. In "Company" layout how do you create more real estate?
I would like to put more fields in to the top half (non tab) of the form?
Also, is it possible to get rid of the Hierachy field?
Many thanks in advance.
Guy
I get the following error when I try to create a new database:
"Item has already been added. Key in dictionary:"w:\" key being added "w:\".
The database doesn't get created.
I've tried using different users (with admin rights) but to no avail.
Any idea anyone?

Great, thanks.
However I've installed Distiller 4 instead, this works fine.
I'll get by using this for now and look in to why 5 doesn't work, when I have time.
Thankyou for your help

Hi Steven
Thanks for replying.
"I had to run distiller first to build the fonts table before i could print to it".
Does the fonts table build its self or is there some configuration needed?

Hello
I have a win2000 PC, SP4, Freehand, Phtotshop and Pagemaker amongst other programs.
I have installed Adobe Acrobat 5. But even though Distiller is present in the Printers folder, when I try to create a PDF in, for example, Word; Word seems to go through the process, even asks you where you...
Me again.
This time, a user is using the multi view calendar function to see other people's calendars. Unfortunately, she is finding that some people are dissappearing from the view, and only a complete shut down of her computer makes them appear again.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I have tried reinstalling GroupWise and it didn't work.
However I'll give it another go and check the other options that you have suggested.
I'll let know what happens.
Thanks

I would like to have a text box on my form which grabs data and puts it in a different table to the table that the form is bound to. But on the properties for the text box I notice that I can only stipulate the control source of the current table. Is there a way to get the text box to ask for a...
I have a user whose Excel 2000 takes forty seconds to open the drives in the browse part when "opening", or especially when doing "Save As". The PC is a high spec Win2K pro on a Netware 6.5 network. If I disconnect a random drive this speeds things up.
No other users have this problem.
Thanks
Guy
My Excel takes an age to find the folders and files on my Network when I try to "Save As" a document. Sometimes up to a minute. I am running Windows 2000 on a Netware network. I have no problems with other apps on the network just Excel and Word, and only if I "Save As".
Any ideas?
Thanks

Very odd, if I write a formula and then use Autofill to run it down a column, the formula shows the value of the first cell in all the other cells. Then if I press 'Save' it will calculate properly and change the values to the correct values. Why is this happening?
