    Bob I could not have said it better. We also use similar under Oracle OBDC. The Securty tables can be very complex, but must be thought out by a good planner. When done right, like yours, an application and restrict down to add/chg/del in any app or form.

    you can also code the .newadd but for quickness the append qry from tbl1 to tbl2 is easiest.
