MIMS is very old and doesn't have a comprehensive set of installation instructions. There are a number of guides, but they are not platform specific and not step-by-step. You should get a Mincom Technical Consultant to do your install.

Two things you should check:
1) The mmap files have been removed.
cd $MINENV_RUN
rm *mmap*
2) Make sure the there is no HPUX10.sh file in the $MINENV_RUN/login directory.

LDAP is available for ECP 3.2+ (CICS - Ellipse), ETP 5.6+ (Tuxedo - Ellipse and MIMS) and MincomTP 12R (MIMS customers only)

With LDAP you can tell Ellipse (or MIMS) to authenticate using your Windows domain usernames/passwords.
Your Ellipse usernames must be the same as your Windows logins.

Does anyone offer any technical training for Ellipse? I usually just take screen shots of what the consultant is doing and read the manuals, but I'm not confident and would like a firm introduction to products like EAC and CICS.
