    The latest version you can upgrade your 42x to is NBRI_CF_10.1.0.168 (Full Router - 427). You might need extra flash and ram tho'! I upgraded my 421 successfully with the above. Hendrik

    Hi Andy, The boot roms are usually not flashable... You can order free upgrade kits (consisting of the physical chips) form your local Cisco distributor/reseller. You might require a chip extractor to complete the upgrade job. Regards, Hendrik
