mac manager client login screen
I have 30 imacs running os9.2 which logon to an osx server using mac manager. On around half these machines at the login screen (where you choose your username), the screen actually contains the name of the particular client machine (the name being its file sharing name). exchange machine disappears on dialup
when I say disappears, it becomes unavailable to the remote office, you cannot even ping it until it hangs up the modem and then lo & behold it reappears. it is a tad problematic for the folks in the remote office as they cannot access their mailboxes etc whilst mail is being sent & received...- lamasculo
