I encounterd the same problem! Put it down to my ISP not supporting the hit counters from FP.
My solution was http://www.sitemeter.com/stats/default.asp
AMysticWeb: I have done that several times now with no luck but here I go again. It still does the same thing! Could it be that the ISP host computer doesn,t support this web page?
AMysticWeb: Thank you for your responce. The file FP creates for my site was done using FILE, NEW, Guest Log
the file name is "we.htm" and the assosciated file for comments that are submited is "guestlog.htm".

Hi Folks: I am a newbee to Front Page. I am trying to create a guest book following all Front Page default settings. When I post the we.htm then go to the web page and click on the "SUBMIT COMMENTS" button all I get is the famous old "This Page Can Not Be Displayed" thing!

I uninstalled Live Update. The uninstall utility may give
an error message not allowing the uninstall. I had to manualy delete files in the Symantec Live update folder,
reboot then finish the uninstall. This may be a problem
with Nortons newer version. I never had similar problems
with...
I had the same problem. Turned out my virsus scan was running live update in the background causing the same problem. Live update was running even though an
internet connection was not established.
Anything similar this could cause this type of problem.
