I had a similar problem with my HP CD Writer Plus. Contact HP! They have two free utility downloads for Win XP - one performs the usual write functions (copy, data disk, etc.) and the other is a back-up to CD program. Both free. HP responded to this question within 24 hrs, BTW.

You probably know the *Publish to* drop-down in FP. Does anyone know how to clear it out? Every location I publish to gets recorded there for all eternity, and the dropdown is so long now its essentially useless. Thanx - FLAtRich
