1000/256 ADSL (Eircom.Net)

I have now reinstalled NT4 and applied sp3.
On power up, the blue screen still says sp1.
Once logged in I get the following dialogue box:
'Windows NT could not be started. A previous working configuration was used instead'
Any more suggestions?

I have been asked to rebuild an old server with NT4 following a scsi controller failure.
