Have you enabled the correct amount of logging? i.e failed attempts?
Do you make the suers change their passwords after X amount of days? It could be that they have not done so and server has locked them out.
Create a group that contains all the users who are to have access to the share and then add the group to the folder through the permissions lists.
Don't set the folder to inherit permissions from the parent and ensure that folder 'webfile\excersises' propogates permissions to child objects.
I'll have to investigate that, I had thought something like that might be happening but our Anti-Virus is as up-2-date as it can be. Tho of course as we all know thats no guarantee that the anti-virus has picked anything up!!

I'm not currently using a SQL maint plan to export to a flat file and backup - the backup is actually backing up the databases, but I'm getting this error which I cant explain.

We are using 9.1 - all the databases are up and users have reported no issues with the databases. I will double check the backup exec login for SQL.

Getting an error that I can't for the life of me figure out. The backup does actually backup the SQL, but still generates this error. My first thought was that the remote agent was failing to login, but then the backup would have failed. If anyone can shed any light on the error...
