    hi, thanks for your link. I also noticed the error message as above in tdpoerror.log then comparing the filesets installed with another server realised i was missing tivoli.tsm.loc.client.oracle.aix51.64bit.ela Once I installed the above fileset , i was able to backup. Thanks for the link...
