I have written a flash file, copied to a web server and it all appears to work okay apart from a niggly issue.
When you first view the web page in a browser, there is a sqyare box around (frame) around the whole file and when the cursor is over the page it looks like the whole page is linked...
This may be a slightly stupid question but I am new to this and learning.
Using Checkpoint NG AI - Can the enforcement module and the Smartcenter Server reside on the same system or must the Smartcenter server be on a remote system?
Thanks in advance

When shipping files from one location to another (across a WAN link),is it possible to ship the file to a network pathed server rather than directly connected devices?
We currently have to pass the file from the remote location to the directly connected device and then use something called 2nd...
Is there a way, using VB Script that I can compress (maybe using Winzip) and then send data to a remote system using FTP?

I will re word this question.
At 1 end I have 2 ADSL Connections. These go to 2 WAN Interfaces on the 2811 router. This goes out of the FA LAN Interface to a layer 1 device (HUB) and then the bonding box. When information is sent from the remote network we want to utilise both ADSL lines...
If I haave 2 VPNs going to the same network, 1 VPN comes up okay but the second does not, is this due to the router showing the one route to the network? To get both working together do I need to use route mapping or somethinglike that?

Have you tried "put" in FTP to a different box to see what the result is?
This sounds more like it is system based than network......

Always remember where cabling is concerned:- like to like = crossover
2 different devices normally = straight through

Do you have any systems on your local network with that address scheme?
Note the SYN_SENT. This suggests that it is something at your end that initiated a conversation.
Also, have a look at what utilises port 50797.

I am not 100% sure about this but I believe the gateway of last resort is set so that if the router cannot find a route to a network it goes to the gateway of last resort address.
the default gateway is where you want the packets to go to first.

Providing all four ports are in the same etherchannel group then it should load balance and give you redundancy.
How are the servers connected to the Switch?
If the servers only have 1 nic installed and are only connected to 1 port on the Switch, how can you etherchannel it?
Any packets that...
There are 2 ways to use the "?" in the Cisco IOS.
1: Use directly after the word typed with no space....this gives you the words available using the letters you typed.
2: Use after a space afetr the word you typed - This gives you all the next configuration commands that go with the word you...
Have you tried monitoring the etherchannelled ports......
Put a sniffer on and see what amount of traffic is coming in on what port....
Etherchannelling (If set correctly) should load balance across the ports....
How many ports are you using for etherchannelling?

Access the router using either the Console (Blue console cable required and then use a VT100 Emulation program).
Use telnet if you have the IP address of an interface.
You will need the telnet and enable passwords to make the configuration changes.

The 6509s will be set up with etherchannelling as this offers failover and load balancing.... You just have to make sure both ends are configured correctly before pathcing it in.

I am not sure how you would use this from teaming on the Compaq.
I always thought teaming was just a transparent failover procedure rather than etherchannelling.
Etherchannelling uses load balancing to send info over 2 or more links to the same destination!!!!!!!!

Entirely up to you.
If you want to learn Cisco and feel that this would be beneficial then do it.
