I have a SCSI card that I installed on my Gateway computer years ago. I use it for an external SCSI zip drive. I recently purchased a Dell computer. Is it possible to install the SCSI card on the Dell? Or, is there another relatively painless way of adding the zip drive to the new system?
I've installed and formatted a second hard drive on my new computer. Nothing is on the hard drive yet. The OS is XP Pro. Somewhere along the line, I messed up (I'm a novice!). The drive is in dynamic format vs basic format on the first drive. What's the difference? I want to partition the second...
OK - I managed to get Disk Management to work and saw the drives listed as kutz13 indicated. When I right click on the second drive, I don't get a choice to 'Delete Partition'... Instead what I have is 'Delete Volume'. What now??
Thanks kutz13. I tried going back into Disk Management (thinking it was the way to go), but the computer got "stuck"/"hung up" when I clicked Disk Management and didn't show the drives available. So, I thought I was doing something wrong.
