Been using a USB Canon MP360 Smartbase for abot 12 months now.
Have started seeing a bluey/green haze on colour scans of predominatly white documents... Don't have a clue what might be causing this. Has worked fine up until now.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Excellent, that pretty much sorted my problem with caption numbers not updating. [thumbsup]
Am using txt boxes to position the caption where i want etc.

Can I do this with figure captions that I have manually created in a txt box beside the figure? Is there anyway to insert a custom MS Word caption?
The txt box's are outline numbered, and I want to update references in the body text of the document etc.

Okay,
If I copy a txt box it appears there is some kind of "story", but the 'unlink' button is still grayed out so can't seem to toggle it. Work around is insert a new txt box each time (not ideal [sad])
Also in txt boxes I have added figure numbers using outline numbering, but the numbering...
Using MS word 2002 (Win XP pro), I am creating a document that has numerous pictures / labels etc.
I have come accross something very frustrating,
When I open document and insert a new txt box all is fine. When i insert another txt box, it appears with the txt entered into the 1st text box...
