    I haven't done this - I'm about to in the next month and I believe that you must change it from port 389 if you have Active Directory. I think 388 will do, 389 clashes with AD. sE

    Check your Prune setting under the Database Engine Configuration in Server Admin. How many days are you keeping records before they get pruned. I would recommend 10 days as a good setting - more depending on how often and how far back you normally get asked to restore files from. sE

    Go and look at the Exchange Server 2003 Deployment Guide from www.microsoft.com\exchange\library - it will answer this and many other questions you will need to answer before you start. cheers sE

    Sounds like Exchange is a great solution for you - I would try and get away from PST files as fast as possible - especially ones that large. When you hit 2Gb they will lock up on you and any data over the 2Gb limit will not normally be recoverable. You should also be able to do away with POP...
